Transparency behind closed doors

Pope Francis, starting two days of closed-door meetings with the world’s Roman Catholic cardinals, yesterday called for greater efficiency and transparency in the Church’s troubled central administration, the Curia.

Interestingly, a debate about more transparency in the Church’s affairs is being held behind closed doors. What’s more, we are kept in the dark as to whether those doors are made of glass, which would be an acceptable material (considering the topic) should they need to close them if the room were draughty.
