Talk from the real world #4: Retro communication

Man (speaking to friend): I’ve left the Telecell in the car.

Telecell” is a synonym for “mobile phone” in Malta because the first ever mobile operator on the island was called Telecell, which was also the first overseas subsidiary of Vodafone. This goes back to July 1990 but the brand name is still part of the linguistic currency.
