Not flying but running

When it comes down to it, it’s all about sensations really. The joy of competing that had drained out of my muscles is filtering back into the bloodstream.
A flattish out-and-back, 5000-metres route might not be the most inspiring of circuits but the feelings that flowed through me while running were far from flat.
